Python Job: Web Developer

EasyR is one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing motorcycle parts & riding gear retailers. We are a proudly Australian-owned company based in Brisbane, with over 25 years of combined experience in the motorcycle industry.

We are looking to add a Full-Time Junior/Mid-Level Web Developer to the team. This full-time position will entail you working within the IT team in our Brisbane CBD office. Responsibilities for this job include designing, coding, and tailoring websites, from layout to function to provide an industry-leading shopping experience.

Your job will include but not limited to:

• Create and modify websites using HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Designing engaging and responsive webpages
• Conducting website testing for speed & SEO performance and analysing reports
• Optimising sites for maximum speed, scalability & SEO performance
• Tailor webpages to increase conversion rate
• Ensuring website function and stability across devices and browsers
• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Following technical skills are required:

• HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• jQuery
• API web integration
• Website speed testing & optimization
• Node.js
• React, Vue or Angular
• AWS

Following skills or experience are preferred but not required:

• Backend development
• General-purpose programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc)
• Graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
• SEO
• WooCommerce/ Neto eCommerce
• UI & UX design
• AWS

All Candidates must have an Australian permanent residency, Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (HSC, VCE, QCE, etc), and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study. Salary can be adjusted based on the candidate’s previous work experience and initial assessment of skill & performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
